A renowned footballer of a certain Premier League club who has played for the England team was today, March 2, 2015 arrested for an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.
A fully loaded firearm was also discovered by the police in the unidentified player’s mansion , although it was said to be legal.
Three police cars with plain clothes officers and a van stormed his residence earlier today, precisely around 9 am.
Forensics officers also arrived as part of the probe. Officers were seen searching a garage on the property.
A neighbour said, “You could tell they were police officers, they were all dressed in black.
“I haven’t seen the player all day. I just assumed there had been a burglary.”
Another source said, “He has been arrested over claims he has had a relationship with a girl aged 14.”
