Following the renewed bomb attacks from terror group since President Muhammdu Buhari was inaugurated, the new Commander-in-Chief on Monday, June 1, 2015 held a closed door with Sambo Dasuki, who served as the National Security Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The meeting was held at the Defence House, in Maitama, Abuja.
Although Dasuki refused to speak with newsmen after he emerged from the meeting, feelers say the meeting may not be unconnected with the renewed attacks by terror group, Boko Haram with many saying the meeting was held in order to map out strategies to fulfill President Buhari’s promise to move the military central command to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
