Reigning world footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 scored the 500th and 501st goals of his career when he scored a brace against Malmo in the UEFA Champions League.
The 30-year-old’s brace was enough to hand Real Madrid a well deserved 2-0 victory against the home team, Swedish club Malmo.
Ronaldo’s brace means that the Portguese has now equaled Raul’s 323 record goals for the Spanish giants. The former Manchester United star now needs just one goal to surpass the club record set by Raul Gonzalez.
