La Liga side, Real Sociedad on Monday, November 9, 2015 sacked their manager, David Moyes. This came just a day less than his one year anniversary at the club.
The 52-year-old joined the Spanish club on November 10, 2014 and saw the team to a 12th position finish on the La Liga table.
This season, the team is just out of the relegation zone by goal difference hence Moyes’ sack. The club’s assistant manager, Billy McKinlay has also been sacked.
In swift fashion, former Barcelona assistant coach Eusebio Sacristan has been named the new Real Sociedad coach after signing a deal that runs till June 2017.
Real Sociedad’s next games are against Europa League winners, Sevilla and European champions, Barcelona.
