The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it is ready for the 2015 general elections, stating that it is assured of victory given the overwhelming support it enjoys from the ward through to the national level.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh made the emphatic assertion in a statement dated Monday, January 12, 2015 in response to claims by the opposition All progressives Congress (APC) that the PDP was planning on postponing the election, stressing that the allegation was a means devised by the APC to divert attention from findings by the State Services (SSS) that they (APC) had devised means to hack into the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) database, clone the Permanent Voter’s Card and rig the election.
He also added that the APC was not prepared for the electioneering, hence their efforts to using propaganda and unfounded allegations to deceive Nigerians.
