Queen Elizabeth is trending on Twitter after Hollywood Unlocked reported the 95-year-old British monarch has passed away.
This comes after the Queen’s cancelled her planned virtual engagements for Tuesday due to “mild” coronavirus symptoms, Buckingham Palace said.
“As Her Majesty is still experiencing mild cold-like symptoms she has decided not to undertake her planned virtual engagements today, but will continue with light duties,” said a palace spokesman.
Tweetville has flooded with memes with mixed reactions as the world awaits a statement from Buckingham Palace.
Queen Elizabeth II tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, days after her son, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla contracted the virus.
