Radio Biafra, the secessionist radio, which the Federal Government claimed to have shut down its operations is back on air.
The Federal Government had on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 announced that it had jammed the transmission signals of the radio which was operation from an unknown location, albeit illegally.
According to investigations by The Punch on Saturday, August 22, 2015, the station was monitored on its regular 104.7 FM band from 8pm to 9pm, which it transmitted on before going off air.The broadcast addressed current issues bedeviling the country, inviting callers from the both the South East and outside the country to contribute.
