Her Majesty snaps away with her corgi-decorated mobile while everyone squeezes up on the sofa. Camilla grins gamely as little Prince George wails into her ear, and dad Wills makes bunny ears behind Her Majesty’s head.
Only smiling Kate and mum Carole Middleton look poised and camera-ready for the informal photoshoot.
But don’t be throne by the resemblance – it is, of course, a spoof by photographer Alison Jackson.
Another picture shows Wills and Kate are seen having a right royal laugh.
And Mother’s Day appears to have come early for Kate in the last snap. As she opens George’s card, she relaxes with a glass of bubbly while dad Wills treats her to a fry-up. If it wasn’t for the crown jewels, they might pass for commoners.
The pictures, commissioned by online lifestyle retailer Notonthehighstreet.com for Mother’s Day next Sunday, show how the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might celebrate the day in their newly renovated Kensington Palace apartment.
