Administrative Secretary of the State, Brown Ulucha made the disclosure to a protesting crowd at the INEC Headquarters in Benin City, the state capital.
The crowd, which were protesting alleged bias demeanour of the commission in the state were led by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Egor Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency, Johnson Agbonayinma, who also accused INEC staff in Egor and Ikpoba Okha areas of lying that some PVCs were stolen when they were not.
Ulucha, speaking in defence of the commission said the allegations will be probed.
