A prominent artiste in Akwa Ibom, known as Teacher Ite was on Saturday, November 28, 2015 buried in grand style as his children, also artists, designed a one-of-a-kind casket for him.
The burial of the community icon, also known as Artist Ite, took place in Ibesikpo Local Government Area. It was a befitting home-going for a man who dedicated his life to the art. Two of sons produced the art, Efiok Ite and his elder brother. Both of his sons are graduates of Fine Arts.
The photos, sent to us by a reader, Emmanuel Emmanuel Udoh, shows a casket in the shape of a golden shoe. Great art work on display.
Farewell to a great artist and father.
