ABUJA, Nigeria – PRNigeria, through its parent company Image Merchants Promotion Limited, IMPR, has awarded Master’s Degree scholarships to two distinguished corps members, Haroon Aremu Abiodun and Kabir Fagge Ali, for their contributions to research on national stability.
The announcement was made by IMPR CEO Yushau Shuaib during a weekly editorial meeting at the company’s Abuja headquarters.
The two awardees, both recent National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members at the PRNigeria Centre in Abuja, collectively published over 40 articles focused on youth development and national security.
Their notable contributions also include co-authoring a book, Youth Service for National Stability: A Corps Members’ Chronicle, which received a commendation from NYSC Director General Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed.
“Their hard work, which resulted in writing over 40 researched articles compiled into a book, has garnered significant attention and recognition from our stakeholders,” Shuaib noted.
He praised the exceptional teamwork between the two corps members and highlighted their contributions to IMPR’s success.
In addition to the scholarship, Shuaib presented a cash gift of N50,000 each to Abiodun, a graduate of the University of Ilorin, and Ali, who graduated from Skyline University Nigeria in Kano.
The IMPR management also acknowledged the contributions of two female interns, Maymuna Abdulwahab from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Rabi Ummi Umar of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, who supported PRNigeria’s Tech Digest platform and YouTube channel.
Both received an undisclosed cash gift for their dedication.
IMPR’s Managing Editor of Economic Confidential, Abdulrahman Abdulraheem, emphasised the value of hard work, encouraging other team members to emulate the determination demonstrated by the celebrated individuals.
“Hard work is essential in everything you do. Luck, if it exists, is minimal. The more effort you put in, the greater the reward will be,” Abdulraheem said.
The scholarships, presented to Abiodun and Ali, reflect IMPR’s commitment to fostering young talent and promoting research on youth engagement and national stability in Nigeria.
