President Yayi of the Benin Republc, on Thursday,14th May,2015 was in the Presidential Villa, on what he described as a ‘farewell visit’ to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Benin Pesident spent about an hour with the President discussing bilateral issues before he addressed State House correspondents.
Mr Yayi described Nigeria as the biggest economy in Africa and added that the peace that reigned in Nigeria after the presidential and governorship elections had made the neighbouring countries like Benin Republic to also be at peace.
Pesident Yayi commended the leadership qualities of President Goodluck Jonathan not only in Nigeria, but the West African regional body, ECOWAS.
He further expressed optimism that Nigeria would win the war against terror.
