President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 met with his main rival at next month’s presidential polls, General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at a sensitization workshop for non-violence organised by the offices of national security adviser and the special adviser to the president on inter-party affairs.
Also present for the event, which many say is very necessary were Chairman of both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu and his APC counterpart, John Odigie-Oyegun and former Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Kofi Annan.
The event was chaired by the former commonwealth secretary general, Emeka Anyaoku, with both parties all smiles, even posing for photos.
