President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 held a closed door meeting with the national leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation Office, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja.
Asides national leaders of the party, members of Mr. President’s campaign team were present for the meeting.
Newsmen were not allowed into the meeting, described as “strictly private”, although Punch gathered that the meeting was convened to carry out an evaluation of President Jonathan’s campaign which has so far been to Lagos, Enugu, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Osogbo and Ekiti.
A party leader, who spoke anonymously said the meeting was held to re-strategise as the campaign enters a crucial stage.
