The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Enugu State on Sunday, March 29, 2015 announced that incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan defeated General Muhammadu Buhari in the presidential polls held in three of the 17 local government areas in the state were collation of results have been concluded.
President Jonathan, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, won by a landslide leaving the All Progressives Congress, AAPC candidate, General Buhari with less than 5% of the votes.
The results released so far are as follows:
Isiuzo LGA – PDP – 21225, APC -239.
Ezeagu LGA – PDP – 21711, APC – 28.
Udi LGA – PDP – 31354, APC – 1020.
As at press time, no National Assembly results had been released.
