President Jonathan Expresses Sadness Over Abuja Bombing, Orders Heightened Security

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was on Monday, April 14, 2014 thrown into sadness and mourning as a bomb blast went off in the populated area of Nyanya claiming lives of over 100.

President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed sadness over the loss of lives in the early morning bombing.

Speaking through his spokesman, Reuben Abati, the President extends his heartfelt condolences to bereaved families.

President Jonathan has ordered heightened security in the FCT and has directed medical services to do their very best to save lives of those injured by the attacks.
