The aide to Rufai Alkali, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters – Horsfall Sekibo – has commended the President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration for concluding over 70 projects in Rivers State.
Sekibo made the revelation on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State at the commissioning of the Rivers State chapter of the Goodluck Support Group, (GSG) secretariat/victory march in support of the President.
Sekibo’s claims comes on the heels of condemnation by Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi that President Jonathan had done nothing for the people of Rivers State.
The Rivers State Governor, who is the Director General of the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential campaign organisation has been critical of President Jonathan since his defection to from the Peoples Democratic Party.
President Jonathan in Wednesday, January 28, 2015 said he will take Governor Amaechi’s criticism as a challenge and do more for the people of Rivers State and the South South region as a whole if re-elected as President.
