Professor Rufa’i Alkali
President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday, June 5, 2014 appointed Professor Rufa’i Alkali, as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs, he will replacing Ahmed Gulak was removed from office April 29 this year.
Prof. Alkali is a political scientist from Gombe State is the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Minna . He is the staunch member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and served as its National Publicity Secretary from 2008 – 2012.
The President has also appointed Baraka Sani as his Senior Special Assistant for Schools Agriculture Programme. Ms. Sani was until recently, the Kano State Commissioner for Agriculture.
Both appointments are with immediate effect.
