A pregnant woman in labor was robbed at gunpoint in Annapolis, Md. early Sunday, March 2, 2014 Huffington Post reports.
Reports say a witness saw the woman and her partner being held up by two suspected robbers at 4:30 am on Sunday and called the police.
The police arrived promptly and the woman and her husband were able to point the police in the direction of the suspects, who had fled in a stolen car.
The suspects, 24-year-old Devery Kelley of Annapolis and 44-year-old Cornell Robinson, threw their gun out the window during the chase and eventually abandoned the car and ran.
Both suspects have been arrested and charges are pending, reports say.
The unidentified pregnant woman was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center. There are no reports on her condition.
