An angry Sloane Street director messaged 50 staff to ban nookie in the workplace – who would have guessed someone would leak it.
An estate agent boss has emailed staff to ban office sex in the toilets.
Disgruntled director Richard Gutteridge crafted the message after a plumber spent seven hours at the Sloane Street offices this week fixing a blockage in the ladies’ loo.
The culprit was eventually fished out – in the form of a tangled clump of used condoms that had been blocking the pipes.
After the issue was rectified at great cost, the branch boss bashed out an all-agency email asking his 50-strong staff to refrain from ‘such activity’ in the office.
The internal email was unsurprisingly leaked, leaving internet users worldwide speculating about who the lusty office lovers could be.
However, in a statement given to Metro, Savills’ head of PR said the historic building had shared drains meaning the finger could not be pointed solely at the upmarket estate agents.
She said: “Plumbers were called in on Wednesday to investigate problems with the ladies’ lavatories in Savills Sloane Street office.
“It was discovered that the main drainage system, which is shared with adjacent buildings, was blocked with debris including condoms.
“The blockage has been removed and the system is now working.”
Well, that’s a relief then.
