Popular R&B singer, Angie Stone, a three-time Grammy nominee has been nabbed for launching a brutal domestic assault on her daughter knocking off some of her front teeth in the process.
The 53-year old mother was arrested on Monday, March 9, 2015 after she victimised her 30-year-old daughter, Diamond Stone.
Dekalb County cops were called to their home on the 1400 block of Rogers Lake Road, Georgia United States.
The singer narrated the cause of the violent brawl between herself and her daughter, alleging that she (the victim) failed to clean up after her children.
She was led away by the police who took her into custody but later released her without any charge.
According to TMZ, the singer said her daughter punched her in the face and while trying to defend herself with a metal stand, she mistakenly hit her daughter in the face and knocked off her teeth in the process.
Realizing the gravity of her deeds, Singer Stone attempted to escape from the scene but her daughter went after her yet again before a third unidentified person separated the duo.
Well now, the singer’s daughter has taken to her Facebook page to speak up about the incident and the way forward and her next line of action is not just pretty.
She said,
People are so quick to pass judgment but never really know the full story. Never uphold people in wrong no matter who they are. I’m crushed but I ain’t dead so for the people that praise “her” keep right on just know that it ain’t over.
You so big and bad but had to use a weapon on me in a fight that you started. You giggled on the inside because you thought I was going to jail too.?#?Wrong? I’m sick of putting up these fronts and because you took shit to another level I will too.
I love all my family but I cannot take anymore abuse so I’m separating myself from it all. I pray God heals us from this but from where I sit there is no turning back cause if you ain’t wit me you against me. You so worried about to media and the press but I promise you this I will not rest until my story is heard!
