A randy husband, who allegedly raped a 12 year old house help and got her pregnant is on the run in Lagos.
Punch reports that the suspect, Johnbull Dike, had on several occasions raped the victim, only identified as Favour until she became pregnant for him.
It was learnt that Johnbull escaped when the police in Mafoluku, Oshodi area of Lagos State, trailed him to where he and his wife took the victim to for abortion.
Having rescued Favour on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, the police have launched a manhunt for Johnbull, a tricycle rider, in a bid to bring him to justice.
It was gathered that Dike’s wife and the nurse who was caught during the abortion had been arrested by the Akinpelu Police Division in Lagos.
It was learnt that some residents gave a tip-off to a child rights’ group, Child Protection Network, which involved the police.
It was further gathered that on discovering that Favour was pregnant, both husband and wife bundled Favour to their friend’s place to cover up their atrocity.
However, the woman was said to have returned Favour to the couple in April, saying she could not afford to take care of her.
In an effort to abort the pregnancy, the plan got leaked to the police, a development which led to the invasion of the centre by the police where the nurse and the wife of Dike were arrested and Dike allegedly fled home on hearing the arrest of his wife.
