Boko Haram insurgents who pledge allegiance to Islamic State (ISIS) Sunday, October 4, 2015 claimed responsibility of the multiple blasts that rocked the Kuje and Nyanya areas of Abuja on Friday, October 2, 2015.
Speaking via a statement on Twitter, under the name Islamic State in West Africa Province, (ISWAP) the insurgents revealed that they were behind the attacks which left 18 people dead and 45 injured.
Although the authenticity of the statement is yet to be verified, the group released the photos of three male in combat fatigues who they claimed were the suicide bombers behind the deadly attacks.
