The atmosphere was filled with joy as two Internally Displaced Persons, Abba Yusuf and Halima Lawal got married at an IDP Camp in Fufore, Adamawa State on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
In 2014, people fleeing violence in Gwoza built a new town in Fufore, at the existing hamlet of Daware, off the Yola-Mubi highway.
The couple were among those displaced following the surge of insurgency fuelled by Boko Haram extremists majorly in the northern part of the country with Borno State being the worst hit since the inception of the group.
Yusuf hails from Mararaba Bama while Lawal is from Tarmuwa Village of Banki in troubled Borno State.
Among the guests who graced the ceremony were officials of the National Emergency Management (NEMA).
