[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ave you ever wondered why most people from Niger Delta creeks are excited or indifferent when oil facilities are destroyed despite the environmental impact?
Have you ever pondered life without power since you were born, no potable water, no hospital, no roads, no telecommunication facilities, no education etc while about 80% of salaries, infrastructural development, educational and health funds, and so on come from the creeks of the Niger Delta?
Have you ever imagined, in spite of the inhuman treatment in terms of physical and educational development on the people from the creeks they still gets insulted by those that come to work with the multinationals in the area?
Yes, they are laughed at made jest of, rubbished, etc even by those enjoying from their resources.
Haven’t you wondered why even those that do not have any resources in their area nor make any reasonable contribution to the country insists that people like Tompolo are not qualified to have contracts related to crude oil?
Chai! This world is wicked!
Now you can see why the people from the creeks ‘no send anybody’.
If you like, you can still be asking what do they do with 13% given to them while you refused to ask what you did to be collecting free 100% from these people.
