The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje has stated that the PDP is interested in the development of the welfare of the masss.
He posited thus at while representing President Goodluck Jonathan at the commissioning of certain projects,including schools and toilet facilities at Ido-Oluwo-Ile, Ikaare-Ibeshe and Ilashe communities on the Island.
Agbaje said the commissioning of the projects was in tune with the Federal Governments vision for educating the people of Lagos
He said: “The project does not have funding from the Lagos State Government or the local government.
“What we have done today is in tandem with what we have always said, that if government neglects basic education, the life of the child cannot be straightened out.
“The fact is that without education, one will not attain a good standard of living. It is time for us to think very well which party is interested in the people’s development.”
