A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Lucky Ajie (Idu) has been assassinated by unknown gunmen in his resident located at Okposi area of Rivers State.
Ajie of in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area was murdered on Thursday, April 28, 2016 by the gunmen as he entered his compound.
The former Chief of Staff, ONELGA Council, Mr Chijioke Ejebide, who confirmed the incident lamented Ajie’s death.
Ejebide visited the bereaved family and commiserated with them, while calling on the police to investigate the murder and ensure the culprits are fished out and made to face the law.
