Patrick Obahiagbon Loses APC Primary In Edo, Here’s His Reaction

Honorable Patrick Obahiagbon lost the Edo South Senatorial District primary elections under the platform of the All Progressive Congress to the Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Samson Osagie, on Monday, December 8, 2014.

In reaction to his defeat, Obahiagbon shared his thoughts in a Facebook message: “Yes it’s true. I lost out of the Senatorial contest yesterday. Was looking forward to a robust contestation of ideas at the red chambers but the people thought differently and I respect their decision. God bless Edo state. God bless Nigeria.”
