Paraolympian Oscar Pistorius was today handed a 5-year prison sentence by a South African judge for the Valentine’s Day killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
His legal team has suggested that his actual prison time could be as short as 10 months. But, Twitter is not having any of it.
Outrage over the perceived short jail-time given the Blade Runner has spawned a popular hashtag, #NoJustice.
Soon after, another hashtag emerged #ThingsLongerThanOscarsSentence and some of the tweets that followed are quite hilarious, serious, though provoking, and downright ridiculous.
