The determined effort of opposition elements in Rivers State to pitch the Peoples’ Governor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, against the Presidency is yet another desperate but fruitless scheme to compromise the peace of the State and the mandate of our people.
The desperation is unnecessary. The act of sponsoring posts that are clearly false, misleading and inciting are bad enough. What is totally unbelievable is that a State Chapter of a Political Party adopts that as its modus operandi. How can such a system, one that is clearly incapable of responsible politicking, be entrusted with the solemn mandate of a people and by effect generations unborn? We can’t build value on nothing.
The general public is advised to be wary of the unwholesome antics of these desperate politicians. There are clear channels of communication for the Governor and only those channels are authorised to issue statements on his behalf.
Gov. Wike made no statement on the insurgency in the North-East geo-political zone of Nigeria or about any missing soldiers.
Kindly disregard the falsehood being bandied around. Governor Nyesom Wike’s focus remains the well being and safety of all who live and do business in our dear Rivers State.
