One person has been killed and three others injured in a duel between police operatives and gunmen suspected to be cultists in Kwara State.
Ajayi Okasanmi, the Police public relations officer in the state, confirmed the incident to Channels Television on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Ilorin.
He explained that the faceoff occurred in Ilorin, adding that the police killed one of the suspects and injured two other members of the gang.
A policeman, however, sustained an injury during the clash.
