The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Eyitayo Jegede has arrived his polling unit to cast his vote in the Ondo elections.

High turn out of voters has been recorded across the state as electorates showed up to vote for their preferred candidate on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
Jegede’s strongest opponent is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and incumbent governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
The police has confirmed shooting in one polling unit in Akure. No casualty has been reported.
