OLX Nanny Demands 15 Million For Kidnapped Children (PHOTO)

A nanny who disappeared with her employer’s three children just a day after she was hired from OLX sales portal has allegedly demanded a ransom of N15 Million before she would release the victims.

The names of the three kidnapped siblings were given as, 11-months-old Aderomola, 4-year-old Adedamola and 6-year-old Demola.

Mary Akinloye, 23, who claims to be from Ibadan, Oyo State’s capital was employed on Saturday, March 7, 2015  but disappeared with the victims the next day and is yet to show up with them.

It was learnt that she, alongside her cohorts, contacted the Orekoya family of Lawanson Road, in the Surulere axis of Lagos State on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

The development was disclosed to Punch by a close friend of the Orekoya family who preferred anonymity.

Another friend of the family confirmed the development in a post shared through Facebook social media platform.

He said, “Is it a crime to employ a house help? The kidnappers have demanded N15m.”

Meanwhile, the family is yet to react to the latest development.

The state police spokesperson on his part, assured that investigations were still ongoing.

He said, “Investigations are on and that is all I can say for now.

“There are things you do that can jeopardise investigation.

“What is important in a case like this is to ensure that the children are returned hale and hearty. There are information you may have and if you disclose it, you could break the line of communication. So, we are still on the matter to ensure the safe return of the kids.”
