President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted that the capacity of his performance as the president of the country would be hindered by his old age.
The 72-year-old Buhari who would be 73 by December 2015 made this assertion on Monday, June 15, 2015 while speaking with Nigerians who reside in South Africa after the 25th assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Johannesburg, the capital city.
He said, “I wish I became Head of State when I was a governor, just a few years as a young man. Now at 72, there is a limit to what I can do.”
