ABUJA, Nigeria – The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has dismissed online information indicating specific dates for its 2023 activities such as the Pre-Mobilisation Workshop, Post-Mobilisation Workshop, and uploading of Senate-approved result lists, labeling them as “fake and misleading.”
In a statement released and signed on Sunday, June 11, 2023, by Eddy Megwa, Director of Press and Public Relations, the NYSC clarified that the purported dates did not originate from the organization and simply reflect the imagination of the writer.
“Consequent upon the above, the approved dates for the 2023 Mobilization activities will be made public at the appropriate time, through this medium and other media channels, including all NYSC Social Media platforms,” the statement read.
The NYSC advised the public to disregard the baseless information and assured that official announcements regarding the 2023 Mobilization activities would be communicated via its official channels when ready.
