North Korean Leader Executes Aquarium Manager Over Death Of Baby Turtles (PHOTOS)

Must read

The capital punishment meted out on people by North Korean’s autocratic ruler, Kim Jong-un is no news as an owner of an terrapin aquarium farm has fallen victim after he was executed over the death of many turtles that reportedly starved to death.

The state media had earlier released some photos from Jong-un’s visit to the farm which showed him angrily snapping his finger at a staff.

According to Mirror UK, the tyrant leader launched into a tirade after workers claimed many baby reptiles were dying because of the country’s frequent power outages and a lack of adequate food supplies.

The manager of the farm was then led away and shot dead executed following an order by Jong-un.

Speaking on the incident, a source from North Korea whose identity was not disclosed said, “The manager was shot and killed after Kim Jong-un made his field guidance tour to the terrapin farm near Taedong River in Pyongyang.

“He was executed because some of the tanks were not adequately supplied with food and water, leading to the death of a lot of terrapins.

“Staff blamed the terrapin deaths on the country’s frequent power outages and said they weren’t being given enough reptile food.

“Some parts of the farm weren’t able to receive water in a timely manner because of the lack of electricity.

“That fact in conjunction with food shortages caused all the baby terrapins in the facilities to die.”

North Korea expert Jean Lee said, “These kind of executions are warning signals to the people, if they violate their country’s laws there will be consequences.”
