President Obama’s half-brother, Mark Obama Ndesandjo born to Barack Hussein Obama Sr and his third wife, American Ruth Baker Ndesandjo gave a revealing interview to The Times of Israel in which he provided a picture of President Obama’s larger family dynamic.
“Our family’s not a normal family when it comes to smoothing things out,” he said. “We’re pretty bumpy and there are moments of intense elation and intense disappointment which have characterized my sibling relationships. We’re like a herd of cats, and putting us together like a normal family is going to be a little difficult,” he told The Times of Israel.
