Women across the globe are going topless to create awareness for Breast cancer which has posed a threat to women over the years.
October is an International Cancer Awareness Month (ICAM) and coincidentally, October 13 is an annual holiday set aside for Breast Cancer awareness also known as “No Bra Day”.
The campaign was reportedly introduced in 2011 by a Toronto-based plastic surgeon, Mitchell Brown and is now celebrated across globe.
Women around the world are at a high risk of suffering the scary disease which often leaves a handful dead and others maimed (in cases where the breasts are amputated).
Moreover, some rare cases of breast cancer has been reported among the male folks across the globe, hence the need to step up the awareness.
This breast cancer awareness is geared towards providing easier accessible breast cancer screenings, raise funds which will be used for further research to ascertain the causes, symptoms, prevention and cure of the deadly disease.
The social media have been awash on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 with many photos of topless women who decided to keep the bras at home and let the ‘twin girls’ lose to lend their support.
