Despite three bids from Chelsea and a transfer request being handed in by the player, Everton Football Club remain resolute in their quest to not let highly priced defender, John Stones leave Goodison Park.
Three offers have previously been made by Chelsea for the 21-year-old and they have all been turned down. The player himself recently submitted a transfer request in a bid to force the move but Everton Chairman, Bill Kenwright has turned down that offer.
In a statement released on Thursday, Bill insists Stones is not for sale.

“Everton football club has rejected a transfer request from John Stones.”
“Since the start of the transfer window, we have resolutely turned down offers from another Premier League football club for our player.
“ John is not for sale and he will remain a highly valued member of our first-team squad.”
Will Everton soften their stance before transfer deadline day or should Chelsea look elsewhere?
