There seems to be cracks in th leadership of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) over the current strike being embarked upon by its members.
The tension came to the fore after an attempt to brief journalists of the latest development concerning on Sunday, August 3, 2014 was abruptly called off.
Dr Adewunmi Alayaki, in his capacity as secretary general of the association pleaded with journalist to come back for the briefing in 48 hours.
According to Thisday an emergency meeting of the NMA kicked off at about 3pm on Sunday, August , 2014.
The NMA embarked on a strike last month to protest irreconcilable diferences with the Federal Government.
