President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, February 20, 2015 said his administration had lived up to his 2011 campaign promise that he would make power and the electricity sector his priority, adding that Nigerians would start taking power for granted within the next two years.
Me enthused thus in Ogun State while inaugurating the Olorunsogo II Power Station which is a 750MW Nigerian Integrated Power Project (NIPP), the second largest in the country.
He also said the brief interface between pubic and private ownership of the power sector would soon be over, adding that making a difference in the power sector was capital intensive but his administration was addressing it headlong.
