Attahiru Bafarawa, a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential aspirant and former governor of Sokoto State, has observed that the All Progressive Congress, APC, government led by President Muhammadu Buhari should expect what happened to former President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, to befall him in 2019.
The presidential aspirant who was in Kaduna on Thursday, September 27, 2018, to woo delegates ahead of the presidential primaries election said the power of incumbent no longer has a place in Nigerian politics today, stressing, “Any government that fails to perform will be kicked out by the electorate.
He said that unlike the APC, PDP would not look back but will be positioned to move the country forward when it takes over power in 2019.
Responding, Kaduna state PDP chairman, Mr. Felix Hassan Hyet said that he was not surprised about the achievements of the former governor.
He described him as a straightforward individual whose yes is yes and no is no.
Hyet, a former Minister of Aviation said Nigeria needs an upright leader to lead the country to prosperity.
He described the presidential aspirant as a household name in Nigeria, who is known to be unbiased, adding, “We in Kaduna believe that whoever wins will be good to us.
