The Nigerian Army has announced that it has killed two Boko Haram fighters and rescued over 100 cows from Madagali area of Adamawa State.
According to PM News, the Commanding Officer in charge of 28 Taskforce Battalion, Mubi, Adamawa, Brig.-Gen V. O. Ezugwu, also confirmed that 16 families were also rescued whiletwo AK-47 rifles, six grenade, two pump action machine guns and 18 motorcycles from the fleeing insurgents.
While hailing the complimentary efforts of the members of the local vigilante, Ezugwu further revealed that all motorcycles were destroyed during the operation.
Speaking on the development, the member representing Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency, Adamu Kamale hailed the efforts of the troops, urging the Federal Government to deploy more troops in order to check the activities of the insurgents.
