Nigerian Troops Recapture Gwoza From Boko Haram

Feelers coming from the Nigerian army have it that troops have retaken the town of Gwoza, in Borno State, which has been under the control of Islamist sect, Boko Haram.
Asides Gwoza, the military team, made up of troops from Nigeria and Chad have also reclaimed Baga and Marte, both in Borno State.

The source also revealed that another Borno town, Kukawa seems to have been also recaptured, while the troops and insurgents were locked in gun battle as at press time.

Boko Haram had first seized Gwoza in August 2014.
