Self-acclaimed Eja Nla, D’banj has been affiliated in recent years with many foreign music artistes and movie stars but it appears Bono of rock band, U2 has a special place in his heart for the Nigerian singer.
Bono who was recently in Nigeria for One Campaign’s ‘Strong Girl’; a girls empowerment initiative song has sent the former Mo’hits star a lovely gift.
D’banj took to Instagram on Monday night to announce that the Irish rock star sent him a 6th generation iPad tablet and a case for the gadget.
“Just Received this Wonderful Gift from The Real God father BONO .. 6th Generation IPAD tablet and the Special #RED Case Today.. Thank you so much Sir. God bless you #one#strongwomen #salute @onecampaign@red,” D’banj wrote.
During Bono’s recent visit to Lagos, D’banj hosted him to a cocktail party.
