Nigerian midfielder, John Ogu showed how romantic he could be when he proposed to his fiancée, Chiugo Akaolisa on Saturday, October 3, 2015 after his Israeli side, Hapoel Beer Sheva beat Maccabi Peta Tikva.

The midfielder walked onto the pitch with Chiugo who is a contributor on some blogs and a budding writer. The stadium light then went dim before a short clip showed on the stadium’s giant screen with the player seen on his knees and the words ‘Will you marry me’ was written as a footnote.
When the stadium light came on, Ogu was indeed on his knee with a diamond-encrusted ring.
Of course, she said YES to the beautiful proposal in presence of the 27-year-old’s teammates and their fans.
