LAGOS, Nigeria — The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, has been named a finalist for the Global Alliance World Public Relations & Communication Award, placing it among top contenders worldwide, including the Public Relations Society of America, PRSA.
Competing for the prestigious title of Global Public Relations Association of the Year, NIPR’s recognition is based on its innovative strategies in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and its ongoing efforts to combat quackery in the Nigerian PR industry.
Under the leadership of Dr. Ike Naliaku, NIPR has made impressive strides, securing government endorsements and advancing PR professionalism through digital transformation and capacity-building programs.
NIPR’s accomplishments include certifying over 2,000 professionals and partnering internationally to establish Nigeria’s first Public Relations and Leadership University.
The Global Alliance Awards, judged by an esteemed international panel, will announce winners on November 20, 2024, at the World Public Relations Forum in Bali, Indonesia, celebrating excellence and innovation in global public relations and communication management.
