After a disappointing 0-0 draw against the Taifa stars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, the Nigerian Super Eagles will be looking to redeem their image when they face Niger in an international friendly on Tuesday.
According to a report by Vanguard, a top official disclosed that Nigeria will spend at least $300,000 which amounts to about N60m on the friendly.
$150,000 is being budgeted as appearance fee to be paid to the visiting Mena of Niger. They will also be paid for their local boarding and transportation while in Nigeria. The Super Eagles players will be paid $2,000 each as appearance fee. Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh will get $4,000.
The match will come up at the Adokiye Amiesiemake Stadium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The Super Eagles arrived Port Harcourt at exactly 2am on Sunday, September 6, 2015 and are residing at the Hotel Presidential ahead of the game.
