The number of daily positive cases of COVID-19 is still on the increase with an all time high of 745 on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, made the announcement on their Twitter handle. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now 18, 480 and a total of 475 deaths while 6307 have recovered from the virus.
280 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 103 in Oyo, 72 in Ebonyi, 60 in FCT, 46 in Imo, 34 in Edo, 33 in Delta, 25 in Rivers, 23 in Kaduna, 16 in Ondo, 12 in Katsina, 10 in Kano, 8 in Bauchi, 7 in Borno, 5 in Kwara, 4 in Gombe, 2 in Sokoto, 2 in Enugu, 1 in Yobe, 1 in Osun, and 1 in Nasarawa State.
