The Nigerian Government has announced plans to ban interstate movement of people as a strategy to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Bashir Ahmed, the personal assistant on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed this in a Twitter post on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
He said the information was relayed by the minister of information, Lai Mohammed.

Nigeria currently has 51 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and one recorded death.
